Downstairs Gen 1
Downstairs, circa Gen 2. A lot of these features remain. Kitchen, bathroom, living room, hallway, nursery, spare room (was Jared and Lianndra's room).
Upstairs Gen 2: Two bedrooms, bathroom, gym, pool and decked area
Between Gen 2 and 4 an extra floor was added, and then the layout has remained mostly the same Gen 4-10 other than changes in decking… This house is not in any way efficient and the bills are silly (just so you know!)
Ground floor: Art room, dining room, bathroom, hall, kitchen, lounge, bathroom, hall of certificates
First floor: heir's room, cops'n'robbers room, 2 bathrooms, 2 halls, 3 bedrooms
Second floor: 2 bathrooms, hall, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen/breakfast room.

Rad, your house may have been expensive to maintain, but it sure helped you to get some awesome pics inside because of space… so it is not all a bad thing.
At least you could do “wall-up” pics without hassles.
The Hall of Fame room is such a cool idea. I had all those in the formal lounge in the CrinkleWinkle house, but the walls are only so big!
lol.. btw, I forgot to add, what was Gemma stressing about in the legacy portrait?
Wall-up photos in the Lazarus bunker, on the other hand, are a NIGHTMARE.
I had to use moveobjects on for the hall of fame in the end – way too many certificates! As for Gemma’s stressing, I don’t know. The Kyotis were always whining to me about something or other.
i am offically jealous. i am *attempting* to do this. I am pretty bad at it. I hate building the houses- any tips?
Don’t do it the way I did! This house was a pain!
Plenty of art, music, flash TVs and incense will give mood boosts (as will favourite colours if you get the right hex code. See Sims Wikia), which is particularly good for making them happy when skilling. Make lots of space for movement so people don’t get the queueing issue. Big houses = big bills so either keep it small or buy the no bills ever LTR.
Oh thanks! I have NO ability to make houses, let alone awesome ones like yours. I always wondered why Sims had “favourite colours”. Thanks though. :].
My only ability to make Sim houses has improved though from when I had TS2, I made a great Sim house, but I have a laptop so I couldn’t really do much.
Right now on my Legacy, A THEIF CAME ON THE DAMN FRIST NIGHT…. I think, or did I dream that?

How do you make a mausoleum?? And can’t ghosts go through walls, so what’s the point of building one?
They couldn’t back then, so there was very much a point in building one.
It was a building with a load of windows and no door.

Wow it’s 2012 and I’m finally reading some really good legacy challenge blogs! I loved worsiedogs crinklewinkle legacy but i think this one beats it by a longshot good work rad!
